These two car parks, run by the City of Melbourne, encourage short term parking by matching on-street parking rates for the first two hours.
City Square (Located under the Westin Hotel)
202-208 Flinders Lane, Melbourne. The cost is $2.50 per half hour (during the first 2 hours) on weekdays.
Council House Car Park
200 Little Collins Street, Melbourne.  The cost is $2.50 per half hour (during the first two hours) on weekdays.
Alternatively, meter parking is available on Collins St, although this is a little more expensive and requires regular topping up.
Train and Tram
The closest train station is Flinders St Station. Trams stop directly outside on both Collins and Swanston Streets.
